Launched in January 2024, ICON’s base layer represents a new level of functionality, comfort, and performance. Made with the legendary Italian Pontetorto® Tecnostretch™ fabric technology, one of the world’s leading solutions for technical outdoor apparel.
The brushed fleece interior quickly wicks moisture, while the smooth, water-repellent exterior layer provides protection against wet conditions. This dual construction ensures warmth and dryness even during intense movement and harsh weather – ideal for winter training.
The ICON base layer is specifically designed for performance-oriented rowing. Stretchy and soft Nilo inserts under the arms provide maximum shoulder mobility, support the final phase of the rowing stroke, prevent chafing, and enhance ventilation.

Fabric care
Machine wash at 30 °C (max 40 °C). Do not use fabric softener. Protect the garment from contact with backpack straps, zippers, pins, Velcro, etc. Occasionally use detergent and conditioner to maintain the fabric’s original technical performance.
Always wash inside out. Do not dry on hot radiators, near direct heat, or in a tumble dryer. Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean.
